The pressure reducing, castellated foam zones are smaller in size at the head & foot ends of the mattress in order to maximise pressure re-distribution to the most vulnerable areas, whilst the mattress mid-section features larger castellations, so that the majority of user weight can be managed more efficiently and effectively. The ultra-soft heel section is tapered to further reduce pressure to the ankles and heels, whilst an alternate cut (left to right) of visco elastic foam provides maximum comfort levels.
